Patna: Patna is set to become a new destination for branded hotels. With the development of infrastructure in Bihar, major hotel chains like Taj and Radisson are establishing a presence in the state. Several big business groups are ready to invest in Bihar’s hotel industry.
The Ginger Group and Lemon Tree Group hotels have already opened in Patna. The newly built Taj City Centre, a five-star hotel, will begin operations this month. It is likely to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, boosting the tourism industry in Bihar and creating new livelihood opportunities.
Located in the City Center Mall of Chhajjubaag, the Taj City Centre is ready for inauguration, possibly on July 20, according to Ramesh Pandey, Vice President of Neonetia Ambuja Group. The opening of this 125-room luxury hotel is expected to promote tourism in Bihar.
