Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a statewide campaign titled “12 Saal Bemisaal – Vishwas, Vikas aur Jan Kalyan” to mark 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre, Bihar state president Sanjay Saraogi announced on Friday.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s state headquarters, Saraogi said the 12-year tenure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi represents a “golden chapter” of trust, development and public welfare. He added that on June 10, Modi would set a new record as the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister of India.
The campaign will run from June 5 to June 21 across the country, including Bihar. During this period, the BJP will highlight the Centre’s achievements, welfare schemes and its vision of a developed India by 2047. A series of public outreach programmes has been planned as part of the initiative.
On World Environment Day, tree plantation drives were carried out at over 92,000 booths across Bihar under the slogan “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, with party workers planting saplings and spreading awareness about environmental protection.
Saraogi said a special public outreach campaign would be conducted from June 8 to June 14. During this phase, party leaders will meet distinguished individuals, including Padma awardees, doctors, engineers, progressive farmers and social workers, and present them with booklets detailing the government’s achievements. Members of Parliament will spend a day in each Assembly constituency within their areas, while MLAs will engage at the mandal level.
A “Pragati Path Yatra” will also be organised to review key development projects of both the Centre and the state government. Alongside this, cleanliness drives will be conducted to promote awareness about hygiene.
He further said that media interactions would be held across districts, with ministers, MPs and MLAs participating in dialogues with the public and press.
From June 12 to June 20, two-day public welfare camps will be organised in every Assembly constituency. These camps will provide information about schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, PM SVANidhi and Lakhpati Didi. Applications from eligible beneficiaries will also be collected, with assistance from government agencies.

Between June 15 and June 20, “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Conferences” will be held across Bihar, bringing together educators, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, social workers and other prominent citizens. District toppers, coaching institute heads, business leaders, Panchayati Raj representatives and religious figures will also be invited.
In addition, exhibitions showcasing the achievements of the Modi government and district-level workshops promoting natural farming will be organised.
The campaign will conclude on June 21 with grand celebrations of International Yoga Day across the state. Saraogi expressed confidence that under Modi’s leadership, India would continue to scale new heights and achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation.
Senior party leaders, including Raju Jha, Dr Preeti Shekhar, Haribhushan Thakur Bachaul, Pawan Jaiswal, Pranav Kumar and media head Danish Iqbal, were present at the press conference.
