Patna, May 21: Campaigning is in full swing in Bihar for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed rallies in Motihari and Maharajganj. Appealing for votes for NDA candidates, he highlighted his government’s achievements, such as providing toilets, electricity, and gas to every home, and working to ensure tap water for all.

“These people have no other issue in this election except abusing Modi. Some are saying that they will dig Modi’s grave, some are saying that they will bury Modi. The prince of Congress wants to see tears in Modi’s eyes,” Modi said, criticizing the I.N.D.I alliance. He asserted that while Modi may be a thorn in their eyes, he is in the heart of the country.

PM Modi claimed that the enthusiasm and blessings of the people are indicative of what will happen in the sixth and seventh phases. He noted that the I.N.D.I alliance was defeated in the first five phases of elections and predicted a crushing defeat for them in the upcoming phases.

The Prime Minister argued that 21st-century India cannot progress with the sins of the I.N.D.I alliance, stating that the public is teaching a lesson to parties like Congress and RJD in every election. He predicted that on June 4, there will be a significant attack on corruption, appeasement politics, divisive elements, and criminality.

Modi criticized Congress for abandoning Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals and focusing on promoting a single family. He accused Congress and its allies of wasting 60 years and the lives of 3-4 generations. According to Modi, they built palaces and opened Swiss bank accounts while the poor suffered without adequate food and education.

The PM emphasized that the importance of the poor began when “this son of the poor” started serving as the Prime Servant. He pledged that more work would be done in the next five years than in the past ten, guaranteeing progress under his leadership.

Without naming Tejashwi Yadav, Modi addressed claims that he would be given bed rest after June 4, wishing instead that no citizen needs bed rest and that everyone is full of energy.

Modi also targeted the opposition I.N.D.I alliance over the Ram Mandir issue, criticizing them for refusing an invitation to the Pran Pratishtha programme of Lord Ramlala. He contrasted this with their willingness to visit a convicted person who is home due to illness.

Finally, Modi highlighted the NDA government’s efforts to reduce migration from Bihar by creating local employment opportunities, benefiting the youth of Bihar.
