Patna: The Super League match of the BCA Senior Cricket Tournament kicked off with a contest between Gaya and Kaimur at Moinul Haq Stadium here on Tuesday. Kaimur won the toss and opted to bat first, concluding the first day at 220 runs for seven wickets.

Kaimur’s innings were anchored by an impressive opening partnership of 99 runs between Shashank Upadhyay and Abhishek Kumar Singh. Upadhyay scored 66 runs before being dismissed by Nitish Singh, while Singh contributed 37 runs. Other key contributors included Gupil Rai with 35 runs, Satyam Kumar Yadav with 28 runs, Raju Kumar Sharma with 11 runs, and Shivam Singh Yadav with 15 runs. Anubhav Singh and Rahul Choubey each scored 4 runs, with Vikash Patel remaining unbeaten on 6 runs.
