Patna/Ara: Bihar BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi received a grand welcome upon his arrival in Ara on Sunday, where he attended a district-level meeting and a core committee meeting at the party’s district office. The discussions primarily focused on preparations for the upcoming local body by-election.
The district meeting commenced with Saraogi offering floral tributes to portraits of Deendayal Upadhyaya and Syama Prasad Mukherjee, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.
Addressing party representatives and workers, he urged them to ensure the victory of NDA-backed candidate Kanhaiya Prasad in the forthcoming civic by-poll. Expressing confidence, Saraogi said that elected representatives and voters in Bhojpur would once again deliver a decisive mandate in favour of the NDA, thereby strengthening the ongoing journey of good governance, prosperity, and development under Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

He added that while building upon the development path laid by former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the current leadership remains committed to steering Bihar towards greater prosperity.
Earlier, Saraogi participated in a key meeting of the district core committee at the party office in Bampali, Ara. Detailed deliberations were held on organisational strengthening, future programmes, and by-election preparedness. He expressed confidence that, with the dedication of party workers and effective leadership, the organisation would grow stronger and continue advancing its commitment to public service.

He further remarked that Bihar has embarked on a path of development, and the party’s team is determined to accelerate this progress and lead the state towards greater prosperity.
Among those present at the meeting were district president Durga Raj, former minister and MLA Sanjay Singh ‘Tiger’, MLAs Rakesh Ojha and Mahesh Paswan, former minister Amarendra Pratap Singh, former MP Meena Singh, Ara Municipal Corporation Mayor Indu Devi, district in-charge Rajesh Sinha, and state vice-president Siddharth Shambhu, along with several others.

A large number of party workers gathered at the district office in Bampali to accord a warm and enthusiastic reception to the state president.
Earlier, during his journey from Patna to Ara, NDA candidate Kanhaiya Prasad welcomed Saraogi at Koilwar with a bouquet and traditional angvastra. Hundreds of enthusiastic workers raised slogans in support of the BJP.
At Kanhauli, BJP leaders Satyendra Kumar, Daroga Verma, Sanjeev Verma, Mukesh Keshri, and hundreds of workers also extended a grand स्वागत to the state president.
Overwhelmed by the warm reception, Saraogi expressed his gratitude, stating that the affection, trust, and enthusiasm of party workers remain the organisation’s greatest strength and serve as a constant source of inspiration in its commitment to public service.
