Bhabua, June 3: Bhojpur defeated Rohtas by 70 runs in the Shahabad Zone of the Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament, organized by the Bihar Cricket Association and hosted by the Kaimur District Cricket Association.

In the match held at Jagjivan Stadium, Rohtas won the toss and elected to bowl. Despite an initial setback, losing 5 wickets for 65 runs, Bhojpur managed to post a total of 205 runs in 39.5 overs, thanks to strong performances from the lower-order batsmen. Key contributions included Ritesh Pal with 34 runs off 45 balls, Avnish Kumar with 27 runs off 24 balls, Amit Kumar with 22 runs off 29 balls, Ashish Ranjan with 21 runs off 11 balls, Aryaman with an unbeaten 20 runs off 51 balls, and Mohit with 15 runs off 26 balls.
