Patna: The Interbranch Sports Competition at St. Karen’s High School, held on 16th November 2024,
was a resounding success under the theme “Building Champions Together” and the slogan
“Khelo Karen’s.” Students from five branches of St. Karen’s schools participated in a day full of
excitement, including a March Past, Aerobics display, and the thrilling Flame Relay featuring
national-level athletes. The five participating branches were: St. Karen’s High School, St.
Karen’s Secondary School, St. Karen’s Collegiate School, St. Karen’s Primary School, St.
Karen’s Montessori School.
In the Junior Level (Std I to Std V), St. Karen’s High School emerged as the winner, followed by
St. Karen’s Primary School (1st Runner-up) and St. Karen’s Secondary School (2nd Runner-up).
In the Senior Level (Std VI to Std VIII), St. Karen’s High School claimed the top spot, while St.
Karen’s Collegiate School secured the 1st Runner-up position and St. Karen’s Secondary School
finished as the 2nd Runner-up.
The event was graced by the Director Mr D.P. Galstaun , Secretary Mrs L.B. Galstaun, and the
Guest of Honour Mrs Shefali Srivastava, who all highlighted the growing importance of sports
in education. Principal Seema Singh also emphasized the role of fitness and well-being as
integral to student development, in line with the CBSE NEP.
The event concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, celebrating the winners and fostering
unity among the participating schools. The Interbranch Sports Meet 2024 inspired students to
excel both academically and athletically, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and determination at
St. Karen’s.
