Patna: Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) national president and Union minister Chirag Paswan demonstrated exemplary humanity on Saturday by halting his convoy to assist an injured person in pain on the road. This compassionate act has garnered widespread appreciation.

While traveling from Patna to Jamui via Barbigha, Paswan’s convoy passed Kevti police station in Barbigha, where he spotted an injured man in distress. Without hesitation, he stopped his convoy, personally approached the injured individual, and, with the help of his colleagues, arranged for a passenger tempo to transport the man to Barbigha Referral Hospital. Additionally, Paswan provided immediate financial assistance of Rs 5000 for the man’s treatment.

The injured individual was identified as Paro Chaudhary (45), son of Jugal Chaudhary, a resident of Kevti village. According to his family, Paro was walking towards Barbigha when he was likely hit by an unknown vehicle, causing severe injuries. Thanks to Paswan’s timely intervention, Paro was admitted to the hospital for initial treatment.

After receiving first aid at Barbigha Referral Hospital, Paro Chaudhary was referred to a higher medical center due to serious head and leg injuries. The attending doctor confirmed the severity of his condition. Chirag Paswan’s humanitarian gesture has received widespread praise and recognition.
