Kaimur Secure Three Points in BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League

Patna, May 23: The match between Kaimur and Gaya in the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League, conducted under the auspices of the Bihar Cricket Association, concluded in a draw. However, Kaimur earned 3 points based on their lead in the first innings, while Gaya secured 1 point.

In the first innings of this three-day encounter at the Moinul Haque Stadium, Kaimur posted a total of 283 runs, losing all wickets. They then declared their second innings at 379 runs for 9 wickets. Notably, Gupil Rai played a remarkable innings of 191 runs in the second innings.

Gaya managed to score 278 runs in their first innings, losing all wickets, and posted 115 runs for 3 wickets in the second innings.

On the final day, Kaimur began their second innings at 35 runs for 2 wickets. Nishant Singh, who was yet to score, was dismissed after adding 2 runs to the board. Subsequently, Rahul Chaubey departed after scoring 10 runs. Gupil Rai found support from Satyam Singh Yadav, leading to a substantial partnership of 242 runs.
