This information was shared by Indian Tennis Premier League (ITPL) Chairman Divya Prabhat during a press conference held at Urja Stadium. He announced that the team selection process for the league will commence in May. Open selection trials will be conducted in four cities across Bihar — Patna, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur and Rohtas.
For the successful execution of the event, Rupak Kumar has been appointed as the national media chairman and coordinator. The selection trials will be open to all participants. Players will be required to chase a minimum of 13 runs in six balls, or, as bowlers, defend 13 runs in a single over.
Outstanding performers in the ITPL trials will be recommended for the ISPL selection trials.
Prabhat further stated that the ISPL is India’s first tennis-ball T10 cricket tournament to be played in stadiums.
