Patna: A magnificent and historic event – the Viraat Vishva Sanatan Sanskriti Mahakumbh (Grand Sanatan Culture Mahakumbh) – will be held at Gandhi Maidan, Patna, on July 6 to mark the conclusion of Bhagwan Parashuram Jayanti celebrations. The grand cultural gathering is being organised under the patronage of former Union Minister and founder of Shri Ram Karmabhoomi Nyas, Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
The spiritual congregation will be presided over by Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya Ji Maharaj, and will witness the presence of numerous revered saints, Mahamandaleshwars, and Dharmacharyas from across the country. Their guidance, blessings, and presence are expected to transform this Mahakumbh into a unique celebration of cultural renaissance.
In preparation for the event, a key meeting was held today at the ISKCON Temple auditorium in Patna, led by Arjit Shashwat Choubey. He shared that the groundwork for this monumental programme began four months ago with the launch of a nationwide campaign titled ‘Sanatan Sangh Bharat Jan Chetna’. The campaign has connected lakhs of Sanatan followers from different states.
Devotees from every block and panchayat of Bihar are expected to gather at Gandhi Maidan for the event. Priests and purohits from Sanatan temples will herald the spiritual awakening with the ceremonial shankhnaad (conch-blowing), marking the beginning of a united and harmonious society.
The programme will highlight the ideals and life of Bhagwan Parashuram, alongside a firm resolve to revive Sanatan culture through six key themes:
1. Revival of Sanatan Culture
2. Building a Harmonious and Inclusive Society
3. Inspiring Youth with Courage, Valour, and Eternal Values
4. Nation-Building Inspired by Bhagwan Parashuram’s Justice and Resolve
5. Combating Global Terrorism, Injustice, Oppression, and Corruption
6. Dignity, Financial Support and Political Recognition for Temple Priests and Purohits
During the meeting, representatives of various Sanatani organisations resolved to fill Gandhi Maidan with devotees on July 6 and make the occasion truly historic.
