Patna: Bihar Pink emerged victorious in the final of the fifth Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Women’s Cricket Championship, defeating Bihar North by 59 runs at Moin-ul-Haq Stadium on Wednesday. Organised by the Bihar BJP Sports Cell, the tournament showcased stellar performances, with Arya Seth from Bihar Pink stealing the spotlight. Seth’s outstanding knock of 92 runs (6×1, 14×4) earned her the Player of the Match award.
After winning the toss, Bihar North chose to field.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary highlighted Atal Ji’s dedication to women’s empowerment. Bihar Cricket Association President Rakesh Tiwari assured enhanced infrastructure for cricket players in Bihar, emphasising the importance of such tournaments in nurturing talent.
