Patna: Sharma Sporting and YAC Rajendra Nagar recorded impressive victories in matches played on Tuesday in the Adhikari Madan Mohan Prasad Memorial Patna District Senior Division Cricket League, organised by the Patna District Cricket Association. Sharma Sporting defeated Crescent CC by 31 runs at Alpha Sports Ground, while YAC Rajendra Nagar beat Bata CC by 52 runs at the Genex Cricket Ground.
Sharma Sporting defeat Crescent CC
In the match played at Alpha Sports Academy, Sharma Sporting posted a commanding total of 292 for 8 in 40 overs. In reply, Crescent CC managed 261 for 7 in their allotted 40 overs, falling short by 31 runs.
For Sharma Sporting, RK Viraj produced a blistering knock of 107 runs off just 53 balls, striking nine fours and nine sixes. Aditya Kumar Rai contributed 35 runs, while Sahil Kumar remained unbeaten on 41, helping the side build a formidable total.
For Crescent CC, Himanshu Kumar claimed three wickets, Prince Kumar took two, while Ritwik Raj and Aditya Sahay picked up one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Crescent CC began steadily. Captain Abhinav Sinha played a fine innings of 89 off 79 balls, while Ashish Raj scored a quick 60 off 33 deliveries. Despite their efforts, the team could only reach 261 runs.
Sharma Sporting’s bowlers played a crucial role in the victory. Gaurav Kumar was the standout performer, taking four wickets for 53 runs in seven overs, while Rahul Kumar picked up two wickets.

YAC Rajendra Nagar beat Bata CC
In another match played at the Genex Cricket Ground, YAC Rajendra Nagar defeated Bata CC by 52 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, YAC Rajendra Nagar were bowled out for 192 runs in 33.3 overs. In response, Bata CC were dismissed for 140 runs in 31.2 overs.
Aditya Raj top-scored for YAC Rajendra Nagar with 49 runs. Saubhagya Mishra (32) and Hariom Sharma (31) also played useful knocks to guide the team to a respectable total.
Bata CC started their chase briskly with Parth Sinha scoring an aggressive 37. However, wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Manish Mani (26) and Aryan Raj (22) attempted to stabilise the innings but could not take the team to victory.
For YAC Rajendra Nagar, Pushkar (3/36) and Deepu Kumar (2/3) delivered impressive spells, while Amrit Kamal (2/19) also picked up important wickets. For Bata CC, Shivam Mukul Singh was the standout bowler, claiming five wickets for 18 runs.
