Patna: Bihar marched into the semi-finals after defeating Maharashtra 35-29, 35-32 in the boys’ quarter-final of the 43rd Sub Junior National Ball Badminton Championship, taking place in Rohtak, Haryana.
According to Gauri Shankar, Secretary of the Bihar Ball Badminton Association, Bihar will face Andhra Pradesh in the boys’ semi-final. Key players Saurav, Gaurav, Lalan, Naitik, and Anshu shone in the quarter-final victory.
In the girls’ category, after a hard-fought contest, Bihar was edged out by Kerala with scores of 31-35, 35-29, 35-32.
