Patna, May 14: The Super League matches of the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League kicked off on Tuesday with an electrifying encounter at Moinul Haq Stadium, where YMCC triumphed over Adhikari XI by seven wickets. Rishabh Rakesh, with a stellar performance of 3 wickets and 35 runs, clinched the Player of the Match award.

Opting to field after winning the toss, YMCC witnessed Adhikari XI posting a total of 181 runs, losing all wickets in 36.5 overs. Sachin Yadav led the batting charge with 42 runs off 59 balls, supported by captain Akash Raj’s 61 runs off 55 balls and Dhruv Kumar’s 32 runs off 40 balls. Rajinikanth contributed 19 runs, while Vineet Singh added 13 runs to the scoreboard.

Rishabh Rakesh led YMCC’s bowling attack, securing 3 wickets, while Mo Yakub, Sanjeet, Harshvardhan, and Rahul grabbed 2, 1, 1, and 1 wicket respectively.

In response, YMCC chased down the target, scoring 185 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 30.2 overs. Ashish Mishra played a pivotal role with an unbeaten knock of 77 runs off 86 balls, featuring 8 fours and 1 six.
