Patna: YCC delivered a commanding performance to defeat Jaguar United by a massive margin of 216 runs in the Akhilesh Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament at the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB Ground) on Tuesday, 3 December. Anurag from YCC was named Player of the Match for his all-round brilliance.
After winning the toss, YCC elected to bat and posted a mammoth total of 270 for 2 in their allotted 25 overs. Anurag led the charge with an impressive 52, supported by Mohit’s 43 and Pawan’s 22. Among Jaguar United’s bowlers, Yash claimed 1 for 30, while Himanshu took 1 for 38.
In response, Jaguar United crumbled under the pressure and were bowled out for just 54 runs in 11.1 overs. Rajveer top-scored with 4 runs, while Aditya remained unbeaten on 3. YCC’s bowlers were relentless, with Anurag claiming a sensational 5 for 5. He was ably supported by Aniket, who took 2 for 5, and Naveen, who finished with 2 for 4.
The dominant victory highlights YCC’s strong form in the tournament as they continue their quest for the title.
