Tejashwi Yadav to Launch Third Phase of ‘Samvad Yatra’ from December 4

By Neeraj Kumar

Patna: The Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, is set to commence the third phase of his ‘Karyakarta Darshan cum Samvad Program’ on December 4. The schedule for this phase of the Samvad Yatra has been released, with plans to cover key districts in the state.

According to RJD’s chief spokesperson, Shakti Yadav, the yatra will begin from the Ang Pradesh region and include visits to Munger, Khagaria, Begusarai, Lakhisarai, and Sheikhpura. The program will later extend to other districts.

Schedule for the Third Phase:

  • 4 December: Worker interaction in Munger
  • 5 December: Khagaria
  • 6 December: Begusarai
  • 7 December: Lakhisarai and Sheikhpura (at Lakhisarai)

In the subsequent phase, Tejashwi Yadav will visit:

  • 15 December: Supaul
  • 16 December: Saharsa
  • 17 December: Madhepura
  • 18 December: Araria
  • 19 December: Kishanganj
  • 20 December: Purnia
  • 21 December: Katihar
  • 22 December: Bhagalpur

The dates for the remaining districts will be announced later.

Political Criticism

Tejashwi Yadav’s Samvad Yatra has sparked political debate in Bihar. JD(U) chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar criticised the initiative, calling it a “candidate search yatra” with little significance for the people of Bihar. “Tejashwi’s track record for such yatras has been poor. By-elections on four seats recently saw his party completely rejected by voters. This yatra is unlikely to bring any progress,” said Kumar.

Background
The second phase of Tejashwi Yadav’s yatra, initially scheduled from 16 to 26 October, was postponed after just two days due to the announcement of Jharkhand Assembly elections and Bihar by-elections.

The third phase will begin in Munger, the parliamentary constituency of Union Minister and JD(U) leader Lalan Singh, and will also cover Begusarai, represented by BJP leader Giriraj Singh. Preparations for the yatra are underway, with expectations of robust participation from RJD workers.
