Patna: In an exhilarating one-day final at Shakha Maidan, Rajendranagar, Patna, YCC Cricket Academy narrowly defeated Mount Litera Zee School, Barh, by just 1 run.
Batting first, YCC Cricket Academy posted a total of 133 runs in 19.1 overs, losing all their wickets. Extras significantly boosted the total, contributing 77 runs. Ankush led the team with 34 runs, while Ashish added 12.
Mount Litera Zee School, in response, fell agonisingly short, managing 132 runs in 24.1 overs. Notable contributions came from Abhishek Anand (17), Aditya Kumar Singh (20), Ankit (23), Yash Raj (15), and Piyush Kumar (17).
YCC Cricket Academy’s bowling attack was spearheaded by Shanu, who claimed 4 wickets for 44 runs, earning him the Player of the Match award. Sushmanto took 1 wicket for 21 runs, Subhash 1 for 12, and Shivansh also claimed 1 wicket.
