
Patna: Triumphant Cricket Academy secured their place in the final of the Akhilesh Memorial Under-13 Cricket Tournament with a commanding 8-wicket victory over YCC in the second semi-final, held at the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB Ground) on Saturday, 7 December.
Winning the toss, YCC elected to bat first but struggled against disciplined bowling, managing only 86 runs before being dismissed in 19 overs. Anurag Rana top-scored with 37 runs, while Pawan contributed 10 and Mohit added 8. The standout bowlers for Triumphant Cricket Academy were Aadarsh and Kartavya, who both claimed 3 wickets for 19 runs. Ayush supported them with 1/26.
Triumphant Cricket Academy wasted no time in chasing down the target, reaching 89 for the loss of two wickets in just 10.3 overs. Aakarsh anchored the innings with 27 runs, while Rohit added a quick 23. Prachi chipped in with 4 runs. YCC’s Anurag and Pawan picked up one wicket each, but their efforts weren’t enough to stop Triumphant’s charge.
Aadarsh’s stellar bowling earned him the Player of the Match award as Triumphant Cricket Academy advanced to the tournament final in style.
