Patna: In the investigation of Harsh Raj murder case at the law college in the Sultanganj police station area, Patna Police have intensified their efforts and are preparing to take strict action against the three remaining absconding suspects. The police are set to initiate attachment proceedings against these individuals.
Patna Police, having already arrested five suspects in connection with the Harsh Raj murder case, are now closing in on the remaining three accused. Attachment notices have been pasted at the residences of these suspects, who are from different locations.
The three suspects are Shivam alias Lakshya from Madhepura district, Uday Paswan alias Chetan Paswan from Marachi, Begusarai, and Aryan Kumar from Ghodasahan, East Champaran. Police have pasted attachment notices at their homes and are conducting raids to apprehend them.
Previously, the police arrested five individuals in this high-profile murder case. The first arrest was Chandan Yadav, who played a coordinating role. Subsequently, Aman Kumar, Ravish Kumar, Prakriti Anand, and Raja Babu alias Mayank were also arrested and have been jailed.
Harsh Raj, a law college student, was brutally beaten to death in broad daylight when he was returning home after finishing his final graduation exam. He was attacked by around 8 to 10 masked men on the college campus, who used sticks to beat him to death.
The murder of Harsh Raj sparked significant unrest in Patna. Hundreds of students took to the streets to protest, resulting in arson at Kargil Chowk. The police responded with a lathi charge to control the situation.
