
Patna: The All India Senior National Arbiter Seminar kicked off today at the Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna, organised by the All Bihar Chess Association under the auspices of the All India Chess Federation. The two-day seminar, supported by the Bihar State Sports Authority, has attracted 63 participants from various states, including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Jharkhand, Bengal, and Meghalaya. Among them are 44 trainee arbiters from Bihar, with 12 female participants.
FIDE lecturer Swapnil Bansod, the seminar’s lead instructor, stated that participants would receive training covering all technical aspects required for officiating chess competitions. At the end of the seminar, a test will be conducted, and those who pass will receive certification for different levels.
