Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks (Sony Sports) India has acquired the exclusive television broadcast rights for the upcoming three-match T20I series between Afghanistan and India. The matches will be played in Delhi on September 13, 15 and 17, 2026.
India, currently the world’s top-ranked T20I side, will be led by Shreyas Iyer. The squad features other top names like Ishan Kishan, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Sanju Samson, Tilak Varma and Varun Chakravarthy, along with Jasprit Bumrah (subject to fitness).
Afghanistan, on the other hand, will be led by Ibrahim Zadran and will feature a formidable spin attack spearheaded by Rashid Khan. The squad also includes Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Sediqullah Atal, along with experienced all-rounders Azmatullah Omarzai, Gulbadin Naib and Mohammad Nabi.
