Patna: The 50th Golden Jubilee Bihar State Women’s Kabaddi Championship will be held in Nagar Panchayat Bangaon, Saharsa, from August 21 to August 23. The event is being organized under the auspices of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association and the Saharsa District Kabaddi Association, with the Natkhat Sports Festival serving as the host.
Kumar Vijay Singh, Chairman of the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, announced that teams from all affiliated district units will be participating. Each district association has been instructed to conduct selection trials and form teams to compete in the championship. Participating teams are required to report to the venue by 5:00 PM on August 20. The maximum allowable weight for players is set at 75 kg.
Arun Kumar, the convener of the referee board for the Bihar State Kabaddi Association, will oversee the championship. To facilitate the players, the organizing committee has arranged transportation from Saharsa railway station and bus stand to the venue. Players are required to represent their own districts, and teams must provide both original and photocopies of Aadhaar cards for all participants during the event.
