
Patna: Gennex Cricket Academy delivered a stellar performance to defeat SKY Playing XI by 109 runs in the Chandramani Prasad Singh Memorial Under-14 Cricket Tournament on Tuesday, 10 December. The match was held at the Bihar Cricket Academy Ground.
After winning the toss, SKY Playing XI elected to field. Gennex Cricket Academy took full advantage of their batting opportunity, scoring 212 runs for nine wickets in 25 overs. Vivek was the standout batsman, contributing 63 runs, while Agastya added a solid 37. SKY Playing XI’s bowlers, led by Shlok Krishna Rajhans and Ayush Raj, claimed two wickets each but struggled to contain the opposition’s high score.
In response, SKY Playing XI managed only 103 runs in 19.4 overs, with Shivam’s 58 being the sole highlight of their innings. Gennex’s bowlers dominated, with Vicky Kumar taking three wickets for just 20 runs and Priyanshu Yadav chipping in with two wickets for six runs.
Shashi Kumar of Gennex Cricket Academy was named Player of the Match for his all-round contribution. The award was presented by Abhishek Kumar Singh.
