Patna, May 24: The Patna District Junior Division Cricket League commenced with great enthusiasm at the local Moinul Haque Stadium on Friday, under the aegis of the Patna District Cricket Association (PDCA) Steering Committee. In the inaugural match, FCI defeated Lakshya Engitech by 30 runs.

The league was inaugurated by the Chairman of the Patna District Cricket Association Steering Committee, Rajesh Kumar, along with committee member Rahbar Abdin, after they were introduced to the players.

Dhananjay Kumar Singh, the Chairman of the Patna District Senior and Junior Division Cricket League Organizing Committee, welcomed everyone by presenting bouquets. Many dignitaries, including Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, were present on this occasion.

FCI won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 163 runs in 35 overs, losing seven wickets. In reply, Lakshya Engitech’s team was all out for 133 runs in 27.2 overs. FCI’s Ashish Kumar, who took four wickets, was awarded the Player of the Match.
