Patna: Starting from 1 January 2025, the timings of numerous trains operating under the Danapur Division of East Central Railway, including the Rajdhani Express and Vande Bharat trains, will be revised. A total of 58 trains within the division are affected, with changes ranging from 10 to 25 minutes in their schedules. The Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Saraswati Chandra, stated that the Kashi Jan Shatabdi will now depart 25 minutes earlier from Patna. Additionally, the timetable for 14 other trains has been updated.
The new timetable introduces partial changes to eight Vande Bharat trains, revised timings for 14 trains, the operation of nine passenger trains, the route extension of 13 trains, and an increase in the frequency of three trains. These updates have been implemented with the convenience of passengers in mind.
Revised Timings for Key Trains
- 12363 Asansol Superfast Express: Will now depart from Patna Junction at 13:30 instead of 13:40.
- 12367 Vikramshila Express: Will depart from Patna Junction at 16:50 instead of 16:55.
- 12424 Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express: Will depart from Patliputra Station at 4:05 instead of 4:15.
- 12436 Jaynagar Garib Rath Express: Will depart at 5:45 instead of 5:55.
- 13249 Bhabua Road Intercity: Will depart at 5:20 instead of 5:25.
- 13257 Anand Vihar Jan Shatabdi Express: Will leave Danapur Station at 3:50 instead of 4:00.
- 13282 Rajendra Nagar-Dibrugarh Weekly: Will leave Rajendra Nagar Terminal at 14:45 instead of 15:00.
- 13330 Ganga Damodar Express: Will leave Patna Junction at 23:20 instead of 23:30.
- 15126 Patna-Kashi Jan Shatabdi Express: Will leave Patna Junction at 16:45 instead of 17:20.
- 15528 Kamla Ganga Express: Will leave Patna Junction at 15:45 instead of 17:00.
- 22406 Bhagalpur Garib Rath Express: Will leave Patna Junction at 5:45 instead of 5:55.
- 22948 Surat-Bhagalpur Express: Will leave Patna Junction at 11:25 instead of 11:45.
Temporary Halts for 358th Prakash Parv
To commemorate the 358th Prakash Parv of Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj, 20 pairs of trains will be given a two-minute temporary halt at Patna Sahib Station from 30 December to 12 January. The trains include:
