Bihar Table Tennis Association Holds Annual General Meeting in Patna on May 10, 2026.

Patna: The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bihar Table Tennis Association(BTTA) was held on Sunday, May 10, at Hotel Akila in Patna. The meeting was chaired by Association President Arvind Kumar Singh.
During the session, Secretary Rajiv Ratan Singh presented the annual report, while Treasurer Manoj Kumar placed the financial statement for the year before the members.
Providing details of the meeting, President Arvind Kumar Singh and Secretary Rajiv Ratan Singh jointly stated that office-bearers from 20 district units of the association participated in the AGM.
They said that key discussions focused on specialised training for players and the development of table tennis across districts. District representatives shared their views on these issues.
The meeting also deliberated on the registration of district associations under the Societies Registration Act and the process of opening their bank accounts. Discussions were held on hosting domestic tournaments during the current session and ensuring maximum participation from districts.
The President and Secretary further informed that the Bihar Table Tennis Association organises four ranking tournaments annually, along with competitions ranging from cadet to senior levels. For the current session, districts including Muzaffarpur, Purnia, Gaya, Patna and Saharsa have expressed interest in hosting these events. The schedule for the tournaments will be announced soon.

The meeting also reviewed the functioning of various committees, including the grievance redressal and disciplinary committees, and issued necessary directions. A message was conveyed assuring players to remain focused on their game, while any issues would be addressed by district and state associations.
Among those present were Vice-President K.M. Sinha; special invitees Mukesh Rai, Deepak Pandey, Ramashankar Prasad, Dilip Gandhi and Sajal Dutta Gupta; Joint Secretary Sanjay Kumar; Assistant Secretaries Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, Rahul Das and Pankaj Pandey; Executive Members Mausami Chatterjee, Sunita Bose, Roshan Singh ‘Dhoni’, Somnath, along with several other dignitaries.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Abhay Kumar Singh, President of the Samastipur District Table Tennis Association and Vice-President of the Bihar Table Tennis Association.
