Patna, May 19: Under the aegis of the All Bihar Chess Association, the East Champaran District Chess Association is organizing the Bihar State Under-17 Chess Championship starting from June 7. The competition will be held at SS Roy Hotel, located at Hospital Square, Agrawa, Motihari.

A total of Rs. 10,000 in cash prizes will be distributed in this Swiss chess tournament, which will be played over seven rounds. The last date to register for the tournament is June 3. The team selected based on this championship will represent Bihar in the National Under-17 Chess Championship.

Only players registered with the All Bihar Chess Association are eligible to participate in this tournament.
