Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducted re-examinations for seven subjects of Competency Test 2 for classes 9–10 and 11–12 during November. Held online, the re-examinations were necessitated due to significant errors in the original tests, leading to their cancellation. A total of 427 teacher candidates have successfully cleared the re-examination, according to results released late on Sunday night.

The Board stated that the re-examinations for five subjects of classes 9–10 — Hindi, Persian, Music, Dance, and Home Science — were conducted on 13 November 2024, with 429 teacher candidates participating. Similarly, 206 candidates appeared for the re-examinations of two subjects of classes 11–12 — Home Science and History — held on the same day.

As per the declared results, 299 teacher candidates passed the re-examinations for the five subjects of classes 9–10, achieving a pass percentage of 69.70%. In the two subjects of classes 11–12, 128 candidates were successful, with a pass percentage of 62.14%.

Candidates who appeared in these re-examinations can view their results on 2 December 2024 from 1:00 pm onwards by visiting the official website of the Board, www.bsebsakshamta.com. Results can be accessed using the candidate’s application number and date of birth (dd-mm-yyyy).
