Patna: The Bihar government has posted 10 IAS officers following the completion of their training. The General Administration Department issued the notification late on Thursday night. According to the notification, 10 IAS officers from the 2022 batch have been appointed as Sub-Divisional Officers (SDOs).
The mandatory in-service professional training (phase-2) for all these officers of the Bihar cadre has been completed. Gaurav Kumar, an IAS officer from the 2022 batch, has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Patna Sadar. Divya Shakti from the same batch has been made the Sub-Divisional Officer of Danapur. Shreya Sri has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Muzaffarpur West.
Parth Gupta has been designated as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Purnia, while Ashish Kumar has been assigned to Sonpur. Kislay Kushwaha will take up the role in Mahua, and Rituraj Pratap Singh has been posted to Navgachhiya. Gaurav Kumar has also been assigned as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Bagaha, while Kajle Vaibhav Nitin will serve in Bihar Sharif. Shweta Bharti has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer of Motihari Sadar.
Notably, five IAS officers were recently transferred in Bihar. Among these, the most surprising transfer was that of Patna Commissioner Kumar Ravi. On Sunday, Kumar Ravi was seen with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at various locations. However, by evening, he was unexpectedly transferred directly to the CM Secretariat. Mayank Warwade, a 2001 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new commissioner of Patna.
