Patna: Bihar Cricket Academy secured a place in the semi-finals of the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, while Pankaj Sir Cricket Centre defeated School of Cricket to progress to the quarter-finals. In the second quarter-final, Bihar Cricket Academy triumphed over Suday Cricket Academy with a 48-run victory, and Pankaj Sir Cricket Centre achieved a six-wicket win against School of Cricket.
In their quarter-final match, Bihar Cricket Academy won the toss and set a competitive total of 189 runs for four wickets in 20 overs, led by impressive knocks from Ravi Shankar (52 not out), Aryaman Singh (48), and Sudhanshu Shekhar (39). Suday Cricket Academy, in response, was bowled out for 141 runs in 20 overs due to an effective bowling display by Nitish, Aryaman Singh, and Ayush. For his all-round contribution, Aryaman Singh was named Player of the Match, an award sponsored by Rize Coaching IIT and presented by Ranji player Atul Priyankar.
In the other match, School of Cricket opted to bat first after winning the toss and scored 132 runs, losing all wickets in 22.1 overs. Abhinav Sinha top-scored with 75 runs, while Ayush Gupta was the standout bowler for Pankaj Sir Cricket Centre, taking five wickets for 48 runs.
