Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited the Baba Hariharnath Temple in Sonepur, located in Saran district, where he performed rituals and prayers seeking peace, prosperity and well-being for the state.
During the puja ceremony, the Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife, Mamta Choudhary, along with their children and other family members.
Upon his arrival at the temple, the Chief Minister was accorded a guard of honour. He was warmly welcomed by public representatives and members of the temple committee, who felicitated him with traditional angvastra and floral bouquets.

On his way from Patna to Sonepur, party workers greeted him at several places, raising slogans in his support.
Several dignitaries were present on the occasion, including MLAs Krishan Kumar Mantu, Janak Singh, Rajesh Singh, and Chhoti Kumari, along with Legislative Council member Sachchidanand Rai. Senior administrative and police officials also attended the event, including Saran Divisional Commissioner Manish Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police Neelesh Kumar, District Magistrate Vaibhav Srivastava, and Superintendent of Police Vineet Kumar, among others.
