
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar inspecting the road projects in Patna

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday inspected various roads across Patna district. During the visit, he reviewed the widening and strengthening works on the stretch from Hathikhana Mor to Chandmari. This road connects Turha Toli, Kuhi Mor, Khirnichak Mor, Raghurampur Bridge, DPS School, and Lodipur to Chandmari, ultimately linking to the Usri-Chhitnawan Road. The Usri-Chhitnawan Road was inaugurated by the Chief Minister during his development tour of Patna district. The widening and strengthening of the road from Hathikhana Mor to Chandmari will provide an additional alternative route for people travelling towards Usri-Chhitnawan, Shivala, Naubatpur, Bikam, Pali, Jehanabad, and Ara.
Following this, the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the Shivala ROB (Railway Overbridge) and gathered information about the ROB road to be constructed near Shivala Mor. He also stopped near Chandmari village to assess the condition of the road. The Chief Minister paused near Sainik Mor in Danapur and reviewed the ongoing construction of the Patna Metro Rail project near Saguna Mor.
During the inspection, he instructed officials to ensure proper maintenance of the completed roads and to expedite the construction of roads currently under development.
Accompanying the Chief Minister during the inspection were Minister for Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Secretary to the Chief Minister Kumar Ravi, Special Officer on Duty Gopal Singh, Patna District Magistrate Chandrashekhar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Avkash Kumar, and other senior officials.
