Bihar Boys Secure Third Place in 43rd Sub Junior National Ball Badminton Championship

Patna: The Bihar boys’ team secured third position in the 43rd Sub Junior National Ball Badminton Championship, held in Rohtak, Haryana. Bihar Ball Badminton Association Secretary, Gouri Shankar, shared that the team faced a tough semi-final defeat against eventual champions Andhra Pradesh, losing 35-27 and 35-31. Despite this, Bihar claimed third place based on their overall championship points.

Anshu Raj of Kilkari, Begusarai, delivered an outstanding performance for the Bihar boys’ team and was honoured with the Best Player Award of the championship.

In the girls’ category, Kajal Kumari from Siwan was recognised for her excellent display of talent, receiving the “Best Upcoming Player Award.”

Bihar Ball Badminton Association President Prof. Nawal Kishore Yadav, along with Vice President Prof. Suhaili Mehta, Mithilesh Kumar Mandal, Director Pawan Kumar Kejriwal, State Secretary Gouri Shankar, Joint Secretary Mitali Mitra, Ranjan Gupta, Rakesh Ranjan, Anamika Paswan, Patna District Secretary Dr. Arun Dayal, Senior National Player Deepak Prakash Ranjan, Neha Rani, Technical Chairman Deepak Singh Kashyap, Technical Officer Santosh Sharma, and Physical Education Teacher Shiv Narayan Pal, congratulated the Bihar team on their commendable achievement.
