Patna: Arv Deep from Bihar caused a major upset in the boys’ category of the All India Ranking Under-12 Boys/Girls Tennis Championship, held under the banner of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association and hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy. He progressed to the semi-finals after defeating the tournament’s top seed, Ayushman Pathak of Uttar Pradesh, in the boys’ singles quarter-finals. Arv Deep is the sole representative from Bihar in the boys’ semi-finals.
In contrast, the girls’ category saw a dominant performance by Bihar players, with all four semi-finalists hailing from the state. Pranay Kashyap, Aashi Sharma, Paridhi Thakur, and Shivangi S secured their places in the semi-finals by winning their respective matches.
