Adhikari Eleven and RBNYAC Register Thumping Wins in Patna Senior Division Cricket League

Patna: Adhikari Eleven and RBNYAC produced commanding, one-sided performances in Saturday’s matches of the Madan Mohan Prasad Memorial Patna District Senior Division Cricket League, underlining their credentials with emphatic victories.
Adhikari Eleven crushed Adalatganj CC by 191 runs, while RBNYAC overwhelmed Alliance CC by a massive 166 runs to strengthen their challenge in the league.
At the Genex Cricket Academy, Adhikari Eleven dominated from the outset after opting to bat. They piled up a formidable 345 for 7 in the allotted 30 overs. Kumar Rajneesh starred with a blistering 113 off 70 balls, striking 16 fours and four sixes. Aman Avinash added a rapid 82 from 48 deliveries, while Sikandar Fahad contributed a fighting 69 to bolster the total.
Chasing the daunting target, Adalatganj CC faltered against disciplined bowling and were bowled out for 154 in 29.4 overs. Captain Sikandar Fahad battled with 69 off 72 balls, but found little support from the rest of the batting line-up. Sachin Kumar led the bowling with figures of 3 for 31 in 4.4 overs, while Kumar Rajneesh claimed 2 for 13 in four overs. Kumar Rajneesh was named Player of the Match.

After winning the toss, RBNYAC amassed 283 for 6 in 35 overs, driven by a sensational knock from Vikas Krishna. The opener smashed 177 off 105 balls, laced with 22 fours and 10 sixes, completely tilting the contest in his side’s favour.
Captain Indrajeet Kumar played a steady hand with 34, while Raunit (28) and Manmohan (23 not out) ensured strong partnerships through the middle order. For Alliance CC, Aman Raj and Manish Mani picked up two wickets apiece, with Krishna Gaurav also claiming two, but the bowlers could not rein in the scoring.
Alliance CC’s reply never gathered momentum as early wickets left them under pressure. The innings folded for 117 in 30.4 overs. Captain Aman Raj top-scored with a fighting 47 off 45 balls, while Agastya (15) and Manu Kumar Singh (12 not out) were the only others to reach double figures.
MD Shahbaz Anwar spearheaded the RBNYAC attack with a devastating spell of 4 for 30 from seven overs. Utkarsh Dheeraj Kumar returned impressive figures of 2 for 10 in five overs, while Manmohan chipped in with two wickets. Vikas Krishna was adjudged Player of the Match.
