Patna: The Abhishek Memorial Under-13 Inter-School Cricket Tournament is scheduled to begin in the final week of November at the Bihar Cricket Academy Ground, situated in La Martiniere World School, Sampatchak. This announcement was made by Santosh Tiwari, founder secretary of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
Teams from various schools, academies, and institutions will compete in the knockout-style tournament, which allows entry for up to 24 teams. Matches will be 25 overs per side, with two games scheduled each day.
Alongside a prestigious trophy, the tournament will offer individual awards to the winning and runner-up teams. A Man of the Match award will be presented daily, with additional awards recognising the Player of the Tournament, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, and Best Fielder. Outstanding emerging players will also be honoured.
