Gopalganj U-23 cricket team members

Patna: In the final of the BCA Men’s Under-23 One-Day Trophy 2025–26, organised by the Bihar Cricket Association, Gopalganj defeated Bhojpur by six wickets at the Moinul Haq Stadium to lift the title.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Bhojpur were bowled out for 214 runs in 47.3 overs. Shivam Singh top-scored with a 68 off 85 balls, including seven fours and three sixes. Rishabh Pandey contributed 62 runs from 76 deliveries, while Ritvij Singh added 47. The remaining batsmen failed to make significant contributions.
For Gopalganj, Prashant Kumar delivered an impressive spell, claiming four wickets for 28 runs in 10 overs, including three maidens. Sujay Kumar Sharma picked up three wickets for 35 runs in nine overs, with two maidens. Amjad Ali and Mehdi Abdullah chipped in with a wicket each.
In reply, Gopalganj comfortably chased down the target, scoring 217 for the loss of four wickets in 39.2 overs. Ankit Yadav led the charge with an unbeaten 62 off 42 balls, striking eight boundaries and a six. Prashant Kumar scored 42, while Ashish Soni added 41. Divya Prakash contributed 29, and Ayushman Srivastava and Aryan Raj made 13 and 14 respectively.
For Bhojpur, Vivek Yatharth, Shivam Singh and Mohit Kumar took one wicket apiece.
Prashant Kumar of Gopalganj was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance.
At the conclusion of the final, players of the winning and runner-up teams were felicitated with trophies and medals. Among those present on the occasion were Bihar Cricket Association Secretary Ziaul Arfin, cricket representative Rajesh Kumar, and other officials.
