Patna: Katihar secured a 54-run victory over Bhojpur in the final quarter-final of the BCA Men’s Senior One Day Trophy 2025–26 played at the Moinul Haq Stadium in Patna, advancing to the semi-finals.
Batting first, Katihar posted 225 all out in 47.5 overs. Captain Suraj Kumar led the innings with a solid 76 off 109 balls, striking five fours and two sixes. Ashwin Kumar contributed 46 runs, while Ankit Singh added 25.
For Bhojpur, Vivek Yatharth was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets for 42 runs in 6 overs. Samaresh Singh also claimed three wickets, conceding 34 runs in his 10 overs. Ankit Singh took two wickets, while Rahul Kumar and Paramjeet Singh picked up one wicket each.
In reply, Bhojpur were bowled out for 171 in 44 overs. Captain Sagar Tiwari scored 33 runs, Paramjeet made 24, and Arjun added 21.
Katihar’s bowling attack was led by Ayush Kumar, who took 3 wickets for 29 runs in 9 overs. Harsh Nanda also claimed 3 wickets for 29 runs, including a maiden over, while Khalid Alam picked up two wickets.
The first semi-final of the tournament will be played at the same venue on 12 March 2026 between East Champaran and Katihar.
