Dilip Jaiswal Hails NDA’s Victory in Bihar By-Elections, Confident of 2025 Assembly Win

Patna: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) swept all four seats—Belaganj, Imamganj, Ramgarh, and Tarari—in the Bihar by-elections. BJP Bihar president Dilip Jaiswal expressed delight, stating, “This victory is particularly significant as it is the first election since I assumed office. Winning all four seats reaffirms our commitment and strengthens our claim to form the NDA government in 2025.”

Jaiswal attributed the success to the people of Magadh and Shahabad, who, he said, had chosen an environment of peace and harmony under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi. “This result reflects the future politics of Bihar. The decisive victory indicates that the people trust us to deliver good governance and development,” he remarked, adding that the NDA is poised to secure the 2025 assembly elections with similar unity and effort.

He emphasised that the BJP’s workers displayed unwavering dedication and teamwork during the by-elections, countering earlier narratives that the people of Shahabad had rejected the NDA. “Now, the people understand who can truly work for the welfare of Bihar,” he said.

Commenting on setbacks in Jharkhand, Jaiswal pointed out the challenge of contesting against an incumbent government led by Hemant Soren but remained optimistic. “Despite this, we are likely to win 32 to 35 seats, proving that we are not far behind. In Maharashtra, being the country’s economic powerhouse, we are confident of forming a government with a two-thirds majority,” he added.

Jaiswal concluded by stating that the by-election results clearly indicate the NDA’s continued dominance and strong prospects for victory in Bihar’s next assembly elections. He congratulated all the winners and extended his gratitude to the voters and party workers.
