Patna: From 1 November, over 30 parks in Patna, including Patna Zoo and Eco Park, will operate on revised winter timings. The parks will now open at 5:30 am, fifteen minutes later than before, and close an hour earlier at 7 pm. The zoo’s new schedule will see it open at 6 am instead of 5 am, and close at 5 pm instead of 6 pm.
According to park administration, the adjusted timings accommodate the earlier sunsets and later sunrises typical of winter. Morning walking hours in the parks will now be from 5:30 am to 8 am, after which general visitors may enter.
The operational hours for outdoor gym facilities within the parks have also been updated to align with the new schedule. These winter timings will remain in place until February. In the summer, the zoo reverts to an opening time of 5 am and a closing time of 6 pm.
