GAC Dominate Patna District Senior Division Cricket League with Sixth Consecutive Victory

Patna, May 15: Gardnibagh Athletic Club (GAC) extended their winning streak by triumphing over BHPCL with a 6-wicket victory in their final league match of the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League. This marks GAC’s sixth consecutive win in as many matches played in Pool A, propelling them to the top of the table with a perfect 12 points. The upcoming clash in this pool will feature Panchsheel CC versus BHPCL.

In a showdown at the local Urja Stadium, BHPCL won the toss and elected to bat first. However, due to the outstanding bowling performance from GAC’s bowlers, BHPCL struggled to amass a substantial total, eventually being bowled out for 129 runs in 23.2 overs. Notable contributions came from Siddhant Vijay with 11 runs, Abhilash Kumar with 29, Parmeshwar Yadav with 24, and Hasnain adding 23 runs to the tally.

GAC’s bowling attack was led by Pankaj, Shivam Singh Rajput, Kartik Pandey, and Samrat Sunny, each claiming 2 wickets.

In response, GAC confidently chased down the target, reaching 133 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 18.1 overs. Anmol Kumar Boney top-scored with 34 runs, supported by Abhishek Kumar with 18, Vikas Krishna with 41, and Rishabh Raj contributing an unbeaten 25 runs. Extras added 12 runs to the total.
