Patna: The All India Under-12 Boys and Girls Ranking Tennis Tournament is set to take place from 14th to 18th October, organised by the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association and hosted by Naseeb Sports Academy in Patna. Satish Kumar, the Tennis Incharge of Naseeb Sports Academy, confirmed that the tournament is recognised by the All India Tennis Association (AITA).
He expressed gratitude towards Akhouri Vishwadeep and Akhouri Vishwapriya, Honorary Secretary and Joint Secretary of the Bihar Lawn Tennis Association, for providing the opportunity to host the championship. This Championship Series level event will award national ranking points to participants based on their performances, following AITA guidelines.
Players from major states including West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Maharashtra, and Bihar will compete in the tournament. In the boys’ category, Pratichi Basu from West Bengal is the top seed, while in the girls’ category, Pranaya Kashyap from Bihar holds the top seed position.
Preliminary matches are scheduled for Monday, 14th October, with Tournament Director Satish Prasad, Head of Tennis at Naseeb Sports Academy, and Tournament Referee Rohit Kumar officiating according to AITA regulations.
