Patna: The selection trials for the Bihar Sub Junior and Junior Women Kho-Kho teams, who will compete in the Asmita Khelo India Junior and Sub Junior Women Kho-Kho League (East and North East), are scheduled for September 22. The event, organised by the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, will take place at the Maharishi Vishwamitra Mahavidyalaya campus in Buxar. This information was shared by Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
Players from both government and private schools and colleges across Bihar are eligible to participate in the selection trials. To do so, all participants must bring their original Aadhaar card, a photocopy of the same, a birth certificate with a photocopy, and two passport-sized photographs. Only players registered with the Kho-Kho Federation of India will be allowed to take part.
To ensure the smooth organisation of the trials, Arvind Singh, Secretary of the Buxar Kho-Kho Association, has been appointed as the in-charge. All necessary preparations are being made under his leadership, including the provision of meals for all participating players.
Organising Secretary Arvind Singh expressed his commitment to fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to them by the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, stating that every effort will be made to ensure the comfort and convenience of the players.
The Asmita Khelo India Junior and Sub-Junior Women’s Kho-Kho League (East and North East) is set to take place in Haldia from 27 to 29 September.
