Patna, May 11: the capital city of the state, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to conduct a roadshow for the first time. The anticipation among BJP workers is palpable, and the administration is fully engaged in the preparatory activities. The entire city is undergoing adornment, and stringent security measures have been put in place, with the Special Protection Group (SPG) covering the entire route.
Scheduled for May 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in the capital city of Patna is being diligently organized by leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to ensure its success. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership, along with workers from across Bihar, has mobilized its resources for the event. A significant turnout is expected from the Patna Sahib and Patliputra Lok Sabha constituencies, with both MPs actively encouraging citizen participation through door-to-door campaigns.
The health department is also actively involved in preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit, with a dedicated team of doctors set to accompany him round the clock. Additionally, mobile medical units will be deployed, complemented by 15 ambulances equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. Over 48 doctors have been assigned to ensure medical contingencies are promptly addressed. Alongside candidates Ravi Shankar Prasad and Ramkripal Yadav, State President Samrat Chaudhary is likely to accompany PM Modi, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also possibly joining the roadshow.
Stringent security measures have been implemented, with Patna Police deploying officers across the city and assigning female officers to residential areas. Extensive background checks, including Aadhar card verification, are underway, with hotels also under scrutiny.
Notably, arrangements have been made for welcoming Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 51 locations, showcasing Bihar’s rich historical heritage. The welcoming committee will comprise 500 women workers followed by an equal number of youth volunteers, leading the Prime Minister’s procession.
The route for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow has been meticulously planned. Commencing from Patna airport, the Prime Minister will be welcomed at Raj Bhawan by Bihar Governor Rajendra Arlekar before embarking on the roadshow. Starting from near the Patna High Court between 6:00 and 7:00 pm, the roadshow will include stops at the statue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Income Tax Golambar, before culminating at JP Golambar located at Gandhi Maidan via various significant landmarks in the city.
