Patna: In an effort to address public grievances more efficiently, Patna district has introduced a WhatsApp facility under the direction of District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh. Residents can now register their issues by messaging the WhatsApp number 6202980548. The administration will ensure prompt resolution of these complaints.
The District Magistrate has urged citizens to send public interest complaints on WhatsApp, accompanied by relevant facts and evidence. Based on the messages received, the concerned officers will be immediately instructed to take necessary action, and the action report will be provided to the complainant.
While the Public Grievance Redressal System and District Janata Darbar continue to function as institutional platforms for resolving grievances, the introduction of the WhatsApp facility aims to expedite the resolution process. Additionally, the district administration takes swift action on information received through its official Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) accounts.
A dedicated cell within the District Public Relations Office actively monitors and manages the public complaint system. This cell ensures that complaints received through WhatsApp, Facebook, and X are promptly brought to the attention of the District Magistrate for resolution.
