Patna: Patliputra Patriots and Shriram Khel Maidan emerged victorious in the Simrik Devi Memorial Cricket Series held at Shriram Khel Maidan, Danapur Ground, under the aegis of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation. In the Under-12 category, Patliputra Patriots dominated with a 5-0 lead over Magadh Front Runners. In the Under-15 category, Shriram Khel Maidan secured a 4-0 lead over Learning School of Cricket.
Santosh Tiwari, founder of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, announced that the date for the prize distribution and felicitation ceremony will be revealed soon.
In the Under-12 match, Patliputra Patriots defeated Magadh Front Runners by 8 wickets. Magadh Front Runners, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, were all out for 89 runs in 18.5 overs. Patliputra Patriots chased down the target, scoring 93 runs for the loss of two wickets in 11.2 overs. Amrit was awarded the Player of the Match.
