Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary paid tribute to former Chief Minister Daroga Prasad Rai on his birth anniversary by garlanding his statue opposite the New Secretariat in Patna.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Cooperation Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, Food and Consumer Protection Minister Ashok Choudhary, Science, Technology and Technical Education Minister Sheela Kumari, legislators, other public representatives and senior leaders also paid their respects. Daroga Prasad Rai’s son Chandra Shekhar Rai and other family members were present.
Artists from the Information and Public Relations Department presented devotional and patriotic programmes, including aarti, bhajans, the National Song, National Anthem and Bihar Song.
