Jamui, June 6: Munger’s winning streak continued in the Angika zone of the Shyamal Sinha Inter District Under-16 Cricket Tournament. In their second match, Munger defeated Bhagalpur by seven wickets.
The match, played at Shri Krishna Cricket Stadium in Jamui, saw Bhagalpur winning the toss and electing to bat first. They managed to score 136 runs before being bowled out in 32 overs, largely due to Arnav Aarav’s unbeaten 51 runs. Arnav played a crucial role in stabilizing Bhagalpur’s innings as wickets fell around him. His 51 came off 103 balls and included 9 fours. Other contributions came from Abhishek Kumar (23), Mohammad Khalid (17), and Yash Raj (10), with 16 runs added through extras.
