Patna: The Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] is set to hold an important organisational meeting in Patna on June 21. The meeting will take place at the Karpoori Auditorium located in the party’s state office. Senior leaders from the national, state and district levels are expected to gather on a single platform for the event.
The meeting is being seen as highly significant for the party’s organisational future. Detailed discussions will be held on the party’s strategy, expansion plans and upcoming political programmes.
According to an official letter issued by the JD(U), the primary objective of the meeting is to secure formal approval from the National Council for the election of Nitish Kumar as the party’s national president. In addition, the leadership will deliberate on strengthening the organisation, outlining new initiatives and preparing strategies for forthcoming elections.
Several sessions have been scheduled throughout the day. The meeting of current national office-bearers will take place from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by the National Executive meeting from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
At 11:45 am, the newly elected Bihar State Council will convene. Later in the day, the newly elected National Council will meet from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The final and most important segment of the day will be the open session, scheduled from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
The meeting will be attended by national and state office-bearers, key district leaders, and members of both the National and State Councils. The party leadership is expected to focus on strengthening its organisational structure at the grassroots level.
Discussions will also be held on strategies to take the ‘Saat Nishchay-3’ scheme to every village and household. Other key topics will include the vision of a developed Bihar, the agenda of good governance, and issues related to the state’s overall development.
